Of Body Aches and Sunburns
What started out as whispers,
spoke of gestures with soft warm stares,
two pairs of eyes met,
in a hurtful midday of desire.
Hidden in obscene corners,
where no vulgar words deterred,
mouthfuls of lustful gulps,
swallowed avidity in a bottomless hunger.
United rhythm of a selfish pair,
bodies turned, twisted, ached, and bared.
these solar explosions ignited,
freedom under the radiant king's glare.
In a scintillating afternoon's spur,
breaths sighed with reluctant succor.
bodies covered with sweet salivating sweat,
lay exposed to the humid air.
