Coxswain #4 - Mary Fowler Carroll

Tapestry of Life

Of mind and matter in the tapestry of life

It is possible that a person can see what he wants to see;
      hear what he wants to hear
or color what he sees or hears with his own belief and convictions.

As man thinks, so is he.

We may limit ourselves by our own unbelief.

Submission from the work of Mary Fowler Carroll (deceased 1995),
and shared by Mary Sonya Conti.

Sonya, how true her words are about this choice we have and yet yes, what are we missing when we see through so many filters? Some might say nothing worth seeing...and some might say, everything else.

I do agreed as well, I can pretty much related to this. Because I am one that will go with my own belief and see, hear the things that I only wanted. It can be bad or good, but I would leave opinions to the end, they are important as well, once in a while :D
